Pre-natal pilates. The aim of doing pilates during pregnancy is to prevent injury, rehabilitate muscular weakness, manage pain and optimise movement and posture.

During pregnancy, our hormones loosen our ligaments for growth and prepare our bodies for childbirth. This change also means that we have less stability in our joints, old injuries can make a comeback and some everyday tasks can become uncomfortable or difficult.

To help your body find balance and stability during pregnancy, a well-programmed pilates routine can help you to remain active during pregnancy.

Post-natal pilates is one of the best forms of self-care mums can do for themselves because it promotes total body alignment, improved posture and awareness of your post baby body. Deep breathing oxygenates the muscles and your brain which means you walk away with greater mental clarity and patience (which is important when you have little ones 24/7)
